Bagaha Live ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Bagaha Live mobile application and the related website at https://bagaha-live.vercel.app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to users of our app and website.

For legal and public-facing identification purposes, Bagaha Live is owned and operated by Sagar Kumar Mazumdar.

This policy applies to readers, registered users, reporter accounts, people who contact us, and visitors who use our mobile app, website, or linked support pages.

  • Messages and records relating to support requests, grievance complaints, legal notices, copyright complaints, and account deletion requests

3. How We Use Information

  • Review, moderate, publish, reject, edit, or remove submitted content
  • Operate the app and website, improve performance, and prevent misuse
  • Send service messages and push notifications
  • Measure reliability, fix crashes, and investigate abuse or fraud

4. Public Content and User Submissions

If you submit news, media, profile information, or reporter content for publication, some or all of that material may become publicly visible on the app, website, or related promotional surfaces. Published content may remain in public archives or internal records even after an account is deleted where retention is reasonably necessary for journalistic record, dispute handling, legal compliance, or safety purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We may share information with service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate the service, including:

  • Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and account services
  • OneSignal for push notification delivery and related identifiers
  • Sentry for crash reporting and technical diagnostics
  • Google AdMob and Google consent or measurement services for advertising, consent handling, and basic ad performance functions
  • Hosting, CDN, and security providers that keep the website available

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect users or the public, or as part of a business transfer such as a merger, restructuring, or sale of assets. We do not describe ourselves as selling personal data as a standalone data broker.

Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy notices, including Supabase, OneSignal, Sentry, and Google.

6. Advertising and Consent

The mobile app and website may display ads. Depending on the device, browser, region, and applicable law, advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, cookie or similar browser data, consent status, basic device data, IP-based location signals, and ad performance information to request, measure, and limit advertising. Where available, users can review ad privacy options through in-app settings or browser controls.

The website may use Google advertising products, including Google AdSense, which can use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads on public pages. We may also maintain technical authorization files such as ads.txt or app-ads.txt to identify approved sellers of our advertising inventory.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for account access, moderation, service operation, legal compliance, dispute handling, fraud prevention, security, and archival recordkeeping. Different categories of data may be retained for different periods.

8. Data Security and Transfers

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Data may be processed on servers outside your state or country by our service providers.

9. Your Choices and Requests

  • Request access to or correction of the personal data you provided
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
  • Turn off push notifications from device settings if you no longer want alerts
  • Use in-app ad privacy controls where they are made available

Our services are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

We generally acknowledge grievance complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days, subject to the nature of the complaint and applicable law.
