This page explains the in-app route, request process, expected timeline, deletion scope, and lawful retention rules for Bagaha Live user accounts.

This page forms part of our public legal documentation for the Bagaha Live app and related website, which are owned and operated by Sagar Kumar Mazumdar.

This page applies to the Bagaha Live mobile application available on Google Play and the account services connected to that app.
Bagaha Live allows users to request deletion of their account and related personal data, subject to verification and lawful retention requirements.
1. In-App Path and Request Method
Users can access this page from inside the app through Settings > Delete Account. To submit a deletion request:
- Email bagahalive@gmail.com
- Use your registered email address or mention your registered mobile number
- Include the subject line Account Deletion Request - Bagaha Live
For security purposes, we may request identity verification before processing deletion.
2. What Will Be Deleted
- Your account profile and authentication access
- Saved preferences and account-linked settings that we control
- Push notification identifiers associated with your account, where applicable
- Reporter account access and unpublished drafts that we can reasonably identify
3. What May Be Retained
Some information may be retained where reasonably necessary or legally required, including:
- Records needed for fraud prevention, safety, disputes, or legal compliance
- Published news content, archives, moderation history, or public record material where retention is justified for journalistic, legal, or evidentiary reasons
- Logs, backups, or security records retained for limited operational periods
4. Processing Timeline
Verified deletion requests are typically processed within 7 to 15 business days, although complex requests may require additional time.
5. Important Clarifications
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
- You will lose access to your account upon completion.
- Previously published public news articles, bylines, media, or archive references may remain available where retention is justified
- Deletion of your account does not automatically remove copies or references already shared by third parties outside our control
6. Abuse Prevention
We may decline or pause fraudulent, malicious, duplicate, or unverifiable deletion requests until sufficient proof is provided.
